Agree with both points made by Jason. A cursory glance through the
comments above shows a variety of hardware from big-name vendors (Acer,
Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo) - these guys clearly deemed the xD format
sufficiently popular in merit inclusion of the card reader in their
laptops. Failure to support built-in hardware out-of-the-box (or at all,
as in this case) is a major obstacle to wider adoption of GNU/Linux.
