Sometimes, apparently randomly, Docky will stop appearing on top of
other windows and no matter what I do will stay below all windows until
I restart it. I have only one dock set to Window Dodge, with Fade on
Update for Maverick: NM no longer tries to connect to the previous (now
non-existent) access point, however instead it seems to wait around 30
seconds until it even tries to connect to anything. This seems
intentional. So now we are back to where we started 2 years ago...

It would seem that the only way to solve this issue is to basically
write a completely new widget for the indicator applet instead of re-
using the menu widget. I realize this is less than ideal and is no
quick fix, but in light of how big an issue this has become, I think it
would be worth it.
This makes scrolling to read messages in Gwibber very painful. I also
see no way to navigate with the keyboard.

I just upgraded my Dell Mini 9 to 10.04 hoping this issue would go away,
but it has not. When I resume from suspend, Network Manager *thinks*
that the wireless network I was connected to before suspend is still
present, for some reason, and attempts to connect to it. It does this

I have struggled with this as well, and consider it to be a bug. Just a
reminder to anyone, the DPI settings (in GNOME, KDE, Xft, Firefox, et
al.) should *ALWAYS* match the physical characteristics of your monitor.
If the default font sizes chosen are too big/small, then they should be
adjusted.

I just installed 9.10 on my Dell Mini 9 (from the LPIA alternate
installer CD), and sadly the BCM4312 is not being detected, nor is the
option to install the driver available from the Hardware Drivers control
panel (or jockey-text). The wl.ko file present in Jaunty is nowhere
to be found, leaving
Thankfully Chromium (and Google Chrome) get this right, so I would
suggest people start using it instead.

How has this issue been fixed? According to the latest informoation on
packages.ubuntu.com for the eclipse (3.5.1-0~ubuntu1) packages, eclipse
still depends on eclipse-jdt, eclipse-pde, and eclipse-plugin-cvs.

I was running Banshee as well, and now top shows notify-osd using 822M
VIRT, 757M RES. System Monitor shows it using 142.2M with a heap size

It seems to me that, unless a ~/.eclipse/eclipserc exists, eclipse
should be run normally (and eclipse.ini should be parsed). What we
really need, is the possibility to customize the eclipse.ini in e.g.
/etc/eclipse/eclipse.ini and ~/.eclipse/eclipse.ini so that stupid users
don't go editing
