im running 8.10 and it still shows up and it doesnt support my graphics
card i think.

i actually just fixed my problem with 8.10. i just changed the screen
resolution and everything came back. but i cant say its gone for good
tho.

but the black bar
across the screen remains. i have had this problem on 4 installs and
cant seem to find any help for this bug its very very annoying. this is
something that has just randomlly happened without me doing anything
before it happens.
