I have already fixed that manually, but i sincerely don't recall
modifying the default configuration in any way. In that case i would
have kept a .old copy.

did not test with 2.6.27.7 ...
had to revert to 2.6.24.21 for eth0 to start
As far as i am concerned the bug is not fixed with this version of the kbd
package.
I still have to kill screensaver via console to come back to my x
session.
