Upgrade successful but the Alps touchpad is only detected as a mouse with no
scrolling support available within Mouse and Touchpad. Alps touchpad was not
working in
Upgraded to Lucid from Karmic. Worked well for 1month then rebooted one
day and this happened.
Before the login page this error message pops-up '/usr/lib/libgconf2-4
/gconf-sanity-check-2 exited with status 256'
and at the bottom right corner this error message shows 'The
configuration defaults
I've added the 'Ubuntu Network Manager' team daily builds for trunk (aka
0.8) which has enabled me to connect using Vodafone 3G contract ( Huawei
E172), I haven't tried Huawei E220 yet.

I am also experiencing this issue with a Vodafone (Huawei E172 Huawei
E220) contract.
No problems experienced in setting up the connection using the Mobile Broadband
wizard.
Connection attempted and both green led's light up - Blue
