I recently copied several directories from a hard drive rescued from a
dead computer to my NAS. I can open all of the files fine in Ubuntu. I
attempted to use brasero to burn the windows files to a CD and DVD.
Everything went through the proper steps, and I could see a

Apparently the issue is not the umlauts (at least on my machine), but
ligatures, I've a script to rename files, but some always slip.

I agree that it's special :) Yet, it doesn't answer the question whether
packages are allowed to be broken by installations into /usr/local. I don't

It's just an installation prefix of many possible. Installations into
`/usr/local` should provide files for binaries of that prefix and installations
into `/usr` (source installation or packages) should provide files for binaries
in that prefix.

intended. The hybrid audio/data disks mount correctly, and other CD-R's
now mount automatically too.

Similar here, suspending does not work since upgrade to xenial, but my
system unfreezes when switching to console and back.

According to `man asetkey` only `des-cbc-crc:v4` algorithm is supported
which is obsolete because it's considered insecure. The [OpenAFS quick
start guide](http://docs.openafs.org/QuickStartUnix.pdf) recommends to
not use it.

It'd be nice if `kdc5krb` would log to a file in an intuitive location
like `/var/log/kerberos/kdc.log`. Since the service runs as `root` it's
only necessary to add `/var/log/kerberos` to `ReadWriteDirectories` in
the `systemd` unit.

I have the Meizu mx4 near me: Start a video (Media Player) then lock the
screen (stops the video/sound as expected).
I see the following behaviour (I think it's consistent):
a) Pressing the capacitive button within a second or two after screen lock, the
