I have not been able to debug but am convinced its a regression in the
2.6.31 amd64 kernel. 32 bit suspend appears to work
Suspend still fails in 2.6.31 rc5.

Confirm that this is a kernel associated regression. Suspend works
normally in:

Yes, I give you permission to send the powerpoint file.
The reason I marked the bug as private is that I have data in the ppt
that I do not want to be cached by some web crawler. I will find the
specific slides that cause the crash and modify them so that I am
comfortable making the file world read
Updated jaunty to ii openoffice.org 1:3.0.1-4ubuntu1 and gdb still shows
a segfault when loading the ppt.

I can confirm this bug on multiple hardy and intrepid "nv" boxes with
multiple monitors and projectors. Screen settings shows monitor not
detected. Xrandr is similarly uninformative. When I use a manually
configured xorg the monitor works properly. There needs to be an option
to manually override
For those who are stuck with a box without eth0 the rt kernel appears to
be a good temporary work around.
