This issue just came up for me on Kubuntu 17.04, using systemd

The actual bug may be better described as being in "bash-completions"?
Anyhow, the option for tab completion to fill in "search", so "apt
search $keyword", is missing. If I alter the completions file to add
"search" then it seems to work as expected.

Is this a WONTFIX bug? Still seems like quite a useful feature. For me
it's only a couple of steps to create a JPEG but I see this as a big
barrier for less experienced users. I'm not a programmer but I almost
think that I should have a go at this one - seems like it could be an
easy (easier!) fix
On upgrade to 11.04 I just removed the halevt package and things appear
to be working fine.

Actually, in response to ~suv, I can no longer get imports from the OCL
instead the search reports:

Broken for me too, see screenshot. Color wheel works fine though just no
horizontal colour bars except the terminator indicators in the gradient
tool.

Me too. Many crashes mainly whilst scrolling with wheel, though
scrolling with mouse on scrollbar and clicking to change tab has also
been the last action. The crash is immediate with no vestiges left and
