problem there, networking through the dock just stops working after a

This i still the case for 5.3.0-46... networking just stops after a
while, last i checked (today), it took under 40 minutes before i needed
to reboot. Still running 5.3.0-24 where it all worked fine.

After booting into 5.3.0-26 on my Lenovo X390, it has started to loose
network connection when connected to the Thunderbolt 3 Gen 2 dock after
a while. No traffic goes through. Enabling wifi after it works fine,
but unselecting "Enable Networking" in network manager makes the whole
computer hang
i got the same error i installed it on my C: drive and when i boot with
it from the boot menu i get the same message of ¨uncompression error
system halted¨
i am trying to boot with Lubuntu 17.10 AMD 86x
any idea on what i could do to fix this issue?

This is a "me, too" comment. With a few more pointers and opinions.
The problem is a not-so-minor regression for the Ubuntu Xenial
distribution - it is very close to be a showstopper for my company for
upgrading from Trusty to Xenial. Monodevelop simply doesn't work with
asp.net in Xenial. I

I figured out the reason that monodevelop failed to start on two of our
trusty systems.
What I did was to start monodevelop under strace, trying to figure out
what kind of load caused the exeception. Instead I found that
monodevelop picked up dlls that I did not know was on the system.

The bug is truly easy to fix in the distribution: Just change line 83
in the source file debian/mono-server4-update to use 4.5 instead of 4.0.
So now
Zachary, the problem you mention with the module installs - I have had
them, too (and also in ealier
option, --killpg. I attach the patch, it is tested and in operation now
and works just fine. I hope that you will consider making this a part
of future releases; it is a small change that does a really useful
thing; I thought that other people than myself could profit from it.

I had the no bootable disk problem on Windows and Ubuntu after installing on
my MacBook Pro, (Penryn) in the following order: OSX, Windows XP (using
bootcamp), rEFIt, Ubuntu 8.04. When I synchronized the MBR with the rEFIt,
Ubuntu started working but windows said that it couldn't find windows
it and forgive my pretension): Since this is not a problem with
gutsy, will I get a clean install if I triple-boot OSX, XP, and 7.1,
and then upgrade to 8.04?
