Can not trigger suspend/hibernate by tray icon

This is a strange bug, the problem comes from using aptitude to install
spicebird! Using apt-get to install it works perfectly. How odd!

I'm having problems with dim/restore feature, and also the change

I've got a LG R500 CB-V, and have this behaviour on the hardy heron beta,
updated as of April 4:th 2008. It say running on AC power, and also that the
battery is fully charged, even though the battery is not *in* the laptop at
all. I disconnected it (always do) while the computer was on, but

As the title says; files in /tmp have wrong ownership, after ubuntu 7.10 RC
(desktop) install.
So, when you log in for the first time, you get a bunch of error messages, and
a stock GTK2 theme/icons etc. etc.
It's all good after cleaning /tmp out though.
