Pedro, Ubuntu 10.04 fully updated still can't read a DVD. The default movie player searches for a plugin (DVD source) but does not find it. So Bug 483211 is resolved, but the OS still won't read a DVD. Don't the developers test this kind of basic functionality before letting the product go out
