Monitor/screen is shaking under ATI X1250 driver.

I've got similar problem on my laptop Compaq nx6110
with Intel 915 graphics controller.
I have connected two monitors:
LVDS: 1024x768
VGA: 1280x1024
I need to have switched on only external VGA monitor but after
computer restart I always have both on with resolution 1024x768.

I use Kubuntu on my laptop for about 1.5 year and before I've never had this
