When selecting connection information the ipv6 addresses are not show .
(there is a heading but an empty list)
ifconfig shows the addresses properly.

appear to be a 32 bit signed value. When sending or receiving large
amounts of packets the values occasionally wrap around and change sign.

Well, I'm also affected, I just didn't wan't to give a 'me too'
reaction. Almost the same netbook with a 900 MHz celeron processor
(eeepc 900).
With too much networks in the area it is almost impossible to browse the
networks. I don't think disabling animated bars is a good solution, my

Thanks Mabawsa, that worked for me. Recap of my road to trouble:
1) ubuntu 8.10, hibernated fine but didn't wake from suspend. 4GB ram, 2GB swap
2) upgrade to 9.04, suspend worked, but system failed to enter hibernation
3) live cd, extended swap to 4GB, partition got different UUID so I edited

I think festival uses oss, a legacy sound server that only allows one
audio stream at a time for most soundcards. Look for an argument to make
it use alsa. Or alternatively fool festival and route the audio stream
through alsa:
