Attaching to program: /usr/bin/Xorg, process 5432
I forgot to look into Xorg.log before i rebooted so i do it again.
i log into sick machine and run
tail /var/log/Xorg.0.log
rotating the screen gives a'lot of output
playing a video without the screen rotated gives this output:
(II) intel(0): xf86BindGARTMemory: bind key 2 at 0x02454000
hal-find-by-capability --capability battery | xargs -n 1 hal-device
battery.log
At that moment acpi reports 1:46 and gpm reports 1:00.

Public bug reported:
The Processor is stuck in C2 until uhci_hcd is unloaded.
It does not even matter if /sys/bus/usb/devices/*/power/autosuspend is set to 1
or 2, only unloading the uhci_hcd module allows the cpu to go into C3.
No usb-devices are connected.
** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
Public bug reported:
Since switching to Hardy the reported battery-life is wrong.
acpi still reports it correctly, gpm does not anymore.
The reported life from gpm is about 20m short to the real value.
The Laptop im using is a Thinkpad X60T (Intel CPU/Board/GPU)
** Affects: gnome-power-manager
Public bug reported:
To enable wlan power-management i have to do echo 7
/sys/bus/pci/drivers/iwl3945/:03:00.0/power_level
and it took me a long time to figure this out because it was different with the
driver previous to iwl3945 where it was done with iwpriv.
It is not even documented
Do the cycles need to be uninterrupted by recharges and is GPM able to differ
between multiple batteries with different capacities?
Im currently using the large battery and gpm reports 1:40 instead of 2:60 which
is the correct time shown by acpi.

[Hardy] Reported battery-life is way off
Public bug reported:
Since upgrading to Hardy the battery applet always reports a AC-Connection from
the Moment it was plugged in.
Unplugging the AC-Connection is not registered anymore.
This worked fine in 7.10
Im using a Thinkpad X60T.
** Affects: gnome-applets (Ubuntu)
Importance:
No, i just added it since Hardy is fresh and the problem didn't exist in
Gutsy.

Public bug reported:
Using a Tablet-PC (lenovo X60T with Intel GMA945) i rotate the screen
alot.
When i play a Video using XV while the screen is rotated the computer freezes.
The Display might turn white and the computer does not respond to anything
anymore.
If i switch video to X11 in vlc
I'm struggling with the same thing.
Does anyone have an idea how to re-enable the setting automatically?
