Even though this is VERY old, Im writing this because i got an e-mail
asking if this still was an issue.
So, I'll update this saying that that laptop has passed away to the
Computers After Life long ago xD My new laptop doesmn'y have any issue
with Kubuntu 13.04 =D

I think they are not trying to fix this bug It still hasn't been

So, how is this going??? I downloaded the Jaunty alpha-3 (live DVD, CD
does not work, no installation), and there is still the same problem...
has anyone found a solution??
And, how do I report new bugs?... I followed the steps of the new
process and ended up here (launchpad) asking if this was th
more importantly (I think), is that with aplay both devices are #0
and 1/1, I think I should have the analog 0/1 #0 and the Digital 1/1 #0
(or #1)
Can anybody help me with this, maybe black listing the Digital but
how?

if it was something about the
configuration, no luck. I still have to try changing the config file.
Maybe that´ll make the trick. I´ll do that through the week and post my
results.
I would like to say, though, that you´ve done a great job on Intrepid.
It´s coming out sweet. =)

I Downloaded The live CD Alpha 5. No luck, same problem, Laptop
speakers, no sound, nothing. Headphones, no problem at all, great sound.
