We have the same issue. We have migrated our Nagios to Ubuntu 20.04. Now we
have flapping hosts, because of this issue!
Is there a timeline when you will able to fix it ?

I had the same issue, but the glib from saucy proposed fixed it for me
as well. Thank you very much.
Btw: I don't know if this problem is related to it, but if I right click
in the digital camera folder and select open in terminal, a terminal
pops up quickly and is immediatly closed again. This

I do see the same behaviour on my Computer. It has an Intel 4300 Graphics card.

my HP EliteBook 8530w (64 bit ubuntu, fresh install (not updated from

I fixed the bug on my HP EliteBook 8530w. The problem was the following:
HAL reported that changing the brightness was handled by hardware (which
is not the case for my laptop). Thus when I pressed the brightness keys
the gnome-power-manager simply showed the OSD and did not take further

I also have an travelmate 5315 that shuts down suddenly every now and then. The
fan seems to work fine. Infact it is spinning continuous. The notebook starts
to react slow and just powers off.
I opened the laptop and replaced the thermal compound but it didn't fix the
problem.

would create an empty udf filesystem:
genisoimage -udf -o blah.iso blah
I compiled the original mkisofs from cdrecord-2.01.01a53, same problem.
Then, I compiled cdrkit-1.1.9. This one works.
