I am using a very basic grub theme using the gfxmenu theming engine.
The theme only sets a background image and displays the menu items using
a DejaVu .pf2 font created using the grub-mkfont utility.
This was tested on Natty using grub version 1.99~rc1-13ubuntu3. This

theme loader fails to load the theme. When the theme loader fails to
load a theme, the menu is displayed using text. However, the text

I've created a gfxmenu theme. When I add GRUB_GFXPAYLOAD_LINUX=keep to
/etc/default/grub the boot process hangs somewhere between plymouth and
gdm. I have a seperate /boot partition formatted as ext4 with / on a

asks for the drive to install the bootloader in. After rebooting an
