Binary package hint: tomboy
Experienced on Ubuntu 11.10 Classic Gnome Session with Tomboy ver.
1.6.0-0ubuntu3
To reproduce
- open new note
- shrink the window until all the top menu buttons collapse to a drop-down list
- keyboard shortcuts do not work unless previously
If I may (as it might not be related but then please direct me to the
correct branch) I can no longer override any of the fixed applications
settings, e.g. system terminal:
1. GNOME Terminal is already one of the predefined applications,
2. choose Custom,
3. put in gnome-terminal as a command,
4.
It gives me SO much headache. I understand what I propose is a separate
approach but can someone please specify what drawbacks lie behind
creating a language-creator instead of language-selector? There are

I agree this is a duplicate to the certain point but (please, correct me if I

It was in Ubuntu since I remember. Installed 10.10 and problem still
persists:

2. System - Administration - Language Support,
3. it suggests me to install english language packs - which is GOOD, but

I first noticed this problem in April (in Lucid beta, then in official
release), now it persists in Maverick (beta).

I agree separate wine-prefix is an alternative but according to how I
understand the issue prefix isn't a workaround. Application profiles are
there to avoid such thing (creating separate wine-prefix for every
application is simply a bad idea). And I mentioned the thing because it

Sorry, I cannot for some reason install plugin necessary for posting a
bug on http://bugs.winehq.org - Namoroka doesn't like it. It would be
cool if someone post this for me as I cannot take care of this plugin
problem at the moment and will probably forget about posting the bug
later on. Thanks
I believe this is a duplicate of bug#153169. I know both are closed but
just wanted to point that out.

Can't see an issue with Prince of Persia - it works golden with wine. I
finished Sands of Time, Warrior Within and Two Thrones. The only thing
that doesn't work out of the box is the fog effect and this is due to
shaders incompatibility (in SoT and WW; TT doesn't have this problem) so
you can
Forgot to mention: all the above while using wine 1.2.
(btw. why is the wine 1.3 a separate package in Ubuntu repos instead of an
update?)

It does sometimes happens but can't really say why and devs probably
needs more information.
As a workaround just delete associated files and remove every bounded
entry in registry - run wine regedit, find every instance of the
application/manufacturer name and delete it.

@DPoirier this application doesn't pass a login/password to the browser

put in so you can easily find those in the future. You can copy your

In my case the problem occurred just after restart. When the gnome
