Same problem as above, impossible to start the Edgy 6.10 live CD in safe
mode.
!!! I find that a very Crittical bug and I don't understand why the importance
is this undecide!!!
Don't forget that run the safe mode is vey important as it is the only way, for
a lot of people, to suceed to install
I experienced the same black screen problem as originally described
using the edgy 386 live cd, and like the others already mention,
ctrl+alt+F1 through F6 does NOT bring up any console.
I tried both : the default Start/Install and the safe mode. None of them
worked. I tried also at that time var
