Raymond, the output is below. BTW I will not have access to the problem computer for further testing for awhile. As for your question about front audio panel, there is only one mic and one headphone jack. As for jack states, I'm not sure I understand.

I'm not sure I understand your comment, Raymond. In my case there is *no* front Mic because I've moved it to the rear. Yet during a Skype call the system would switch from the rear Mic to the non-existent front Mic, so the other party heard nothing from me. After I applied Cezary's workaround

On a desktop, it is possible for a user to connected output of a TV card to line in (blue jack) so that you can hear the output from the speaker connected to the green jack. This mean that user may not want to select line in as input source automatically when the jack is plugged into blue jack
