Mikko Rauhala, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from

image-3.2.0-30-generic.

I tried linux-
image-3.5.0-030500rc7-generic_3.5.0-030500rc7.201207142035_amd64.deb,
which didn't set video mode correctly or recognize wlan or umts
automatically. Didn't bother to tinker, it was built for quantal anyway.
Then tried linux-

Apropos noticed that the 3.4.0 rc6 I tested wasn't the latest, but the
3.4.0 release was higher in the list so I didn't notice it . The actual
3.4.0 release deb gives me bzip2 decompression error (on two separate
downloads of it) when attempting install though so no test result on
that...

Apropos linux-
image-3.4.0-030400-generic_3.4.0-030400.201205210521_amd64.deb, it works
too. The file managed to get corrupted twice on download (over UMTS in a
train, but still!), but I got a correct copy in the end.
