Piet: No, the problem is not that Software Center does not declare
packages (although I suppose that would also be worth adding). The
problem is that Ubuntu is displaying ads by default.

I don't think this is the place to discuss whether or not shopping-lens
are a good idea. However, the Dash should be way smarter than this. If I
type packages, at least show me the package manager (possibly as the
first match).

I understand your issue with this, but this is a bug tracker, not a

The one underlying problem here seems to be that the Software Center
does not declare packages, package manager, and probably a few more
terms as keywords.
Should this be forwarded to ubuntu-software-center?
