Hi Thanks for your suggestions. I did try a memtest86 with nothing unusual. To the best of my knowledge my system is not overclocked. So I tried installing Debian instead of Ubuntu (partitioning the drive between the two of them). Since running Debian, I have had no more crashes either from Fr
