or Quantal.
On Kubuntu 13.10 x64 I have error too. Dmesg output:
mmc0: Timeout waiting for hardware interrupt.
Module reload did not help for me in this release too.

I had bought two Acer's notebooks with Linpus inside. First example has not

I think Acer deploing Linpus (which was designed for Acer Aspire One) on all
Acer's notebooks without Windows as alternative to show working

This do not work for me. Some time after module reloaded module my card will be
detected. But I can only read card (but error mesages in log also present).
When I begin write to card then process hang up

Precise+ distributions were tested all. I tested all 3.* kernels from
kernel.ubuntu.com on precise or on quantal. I'm download one of them
(3.0,3.1,3.2,...) and test. If I do not forget, I tested 2.6.39 or some higher
versions of kernel from 2.6.*

I'm tested all 3.* kernels and have this bug too...
This chip is composite of card reader + ethernet devices. Ethernet device
drives by module tg3. This module has bad work too...
I must reload module to start it. But after starting it works stable...
