On gnome-appearance-properties, changes in the background colour of the
desktop's background picture seem to be ignored. The

Again try these steps:
* choose clear looks
* change your desktop background and set style tiled !!!
* back to thememanager
** click on customize and change something (e.g. engine to clearlooks) and go
back
** save the theme as Test1 and choose to save the
