Yes, I tried both kernel variants the generic (3.5.0-25) and the
low-latency one, both are working with the closed source drivers
(nvidia-current).
However, this is now on a freshly installed

Kernels 3.5.0-24-lowlatency and -25-lowlatency do not boot on a Lenovo
T61 with encrypted partions (except for /boot).
Both bring up a shell from initramfs.

with the proprietary nvidia drivers, and multiple kernels. Could you try
uninstalling the proprietary driver and make sure xserver-xorg-video-
nouveau is installed and used when you boot next time.
