This began from installing the Redhat Cluster Management Suite package that
installed this clvmd package. I later tried to install a package that i'm
sorry I just can't remember which one it was that wouldn't install because
of the clvmd package that caused problems with the apt package manager.
apt error message:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
The following packages will be REMOVED:
clvm
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 1 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
1 not fully installed or removed.
Need to get 0B of archives.
After
I fixed this a couple of days ago in gutsy.
I still have no clue why people keep trying installing clvm without
knowing what it does tho.
It seem like it is pulled in some misterious way.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. I am under the impression that you were unable to remove the
CLVM package that you installed is that correct? Could you please add
the exact error messages that you received? Thanks in advance.

what are you trying to install, what is the status of your disk layout,
are you using lvm or clvm or raid or just flat file systems. More
impostantly what is the status of the file system the packages are
trying to install to.
why is the executable path and source package being reported against
PROTECTED]
