Maybe the permissions are not set correctly for ~/.cache, so Firefox cannot create the ~/.cache/mozilla directory. Assuming your username is pico, try these commands: sudo chown -R pico ~/.cache sudo chgrp -R pico ~/.cache sudo chmod 0700 ~/.cache -- You received this bug notification because

On my system BleachBit deletes ~/.cache/mozilla too, but it doesn't affect Firefox's ability to startup. I just tried it on another Ubuntu system, and Firefox works OK after the directory is removed. The purpose of storing the Firefox and other caches in one directory is so they can be deleted usi
