According to the goldendict website, the latest release is: GoldenDict 1.0.1 (http://goldendict.org/download.php). In Ubuntu 13.10, the current version is a git snapshot from 2013/06/20 - can you confirm that the bug is fixed with that version? ** Changed in: goldendict (Ubuntu) Importance:

The bug has been fixed in the main GoldenDict git repository for quite some time. You could either build the latest GoldenDict from sources or you could use my pre-built packages, courtesy of the awesome service from openSUSE:
