I made a new installation, with Gutsy Tribe 4 (amd64 alternate CD). The result was very similar to the above, only with tribe 4 the screen went black, instead of the colored blocks I got with tribe 3. I was able to complete the installation blindly, by simply pressing enter a few times. After reb
