Yes, there does not seem to be any detection code in 8.10.
To reproduce, you have to have a separate /home folder with 'documents',
'photos', etc. pre-made, then install Ubuntu 8.10 and you will see that
Ubuntu created 'Documents',
Can someone post this upstream? I'm not sure how to do so and I think this is a
pretty 'serious' bug as it just seems silly to
1) overrun the users home directory with duplicate name with the only variation
being a case change
2) that once a user deletes any of the xdg-user-dirs, there is no way
I noticed these new directories also on my upgrade from Feisty to Gutsy.
