Please boot X with the vesa driver, and see whether or not you can
replicate the issue with that. If you can, then this is not an -nv
issue, but perhaps kernel or hardware.
Also, can you run top during a chandler full build with the -nv driver
loaded and watch the CPU consumption? I'm guessing

NOTE: This and the attachments above were obtained using 32-bit Dapper
Drake and the binary Nvidia drivers (this is still my primary OS). I can
also get the same using the 64-bit Gutsy beta if needed.
