Upon boot up, I have no taskbars at all. However I discovered when I pointed my mouse at the upper left corner of my screen I got a drop down tab. I was able to perform functions this way, but is very inconvenient. Have not tried rebooting as yet. This is after desktop has behaved strangely.

Strange, before the last compiz updates (before the last updates prior to 10 Oct 07, that is), I was able to click on the desktop and my panels would appear. Now (after the last compiz update prior to 10 Oct 07) when I first boot and log in, both panels are invisible, and the clicking no longer
