The easiest way to fix this would be upgrading your PackageKit and
GNOME-PackageKit packages ;-)
I wonder why this issue happens at all though, since GS has a Breaks/Replaces
relation: gnome-packagekit-session (<< 3.16.0-2~)

Looks like Robert Ancell dropped the transition packages from GS - bad mistake
;-)
GS implements the PackageKit session interface now, while it was dropped from
GNOME-PackageKit in recent releases, so the transitional packages must be in
place, especially (obviously) if GPK is updated in
This bug was fixed in the package gnome-software -
