FFe for symfony (bugfix-only update):
As per https://github.com/symfony/symfony/blob/2.7/CHANGELOG-2.7.md, 2.7.10
includes bugfixes only. Upon reviewing of the diff, as well, no new features
introduced. Finally, some PHP7.0-related support/fixes are introduced.

I believe that both php-symfony-polyfill and php-symfony-security-acl
are only needed for php7.0 2.8.2-1, and can be deleted from the Ubuntu

symfony: failing autopkgtests

FFe for php-monolog:
Based upon upstream discussion, the AWS extensions to monolog are not heavily
used and simply need porting to the v3 of the SDK, for which there is little
interest. (https://github.com/Seldaek/monolog/issues/746)
So the feature-change is removal of the ability to support
This debdiff skips the AWS SDK tests as they are not complaint with v3
of the SDK and v2 of the SDK is not PHP7.0 compliant (due to dependence
on php-guzzle).

Steve, at this point, is it possible to delete
3.15.1.is.really.2.8.27-1~build1 from -proposed? Or do we have to go
down the route of syncing from Debian experimental (3.15.9-1)? Or do we
need to go down the route of reversioning 3.15.1-1 (currently in
release) to supersede

I don't see any reason that we would delete them from the archive. They
are currently uninstallable/unbuildable and therefore not migrating
Not sure the php-monolog change rises to the level of an FFe, but
anyway, FFe granted. This is clearly the least-bad option, vs. leaving
this in 16.04 as a non-updateable php5-only package or removing the
package from the release.

Yes, it is possible. I'm not sure if this will cause launchpad to be
upset if someone later attempts an SRU of aws-sdk-for-php in xenial, due
to trying to upload a lower version number than the last
