Haven't pin-pointed exactly when the change was synced/merged from
Debian, but in newer Ubuntu releases (at least 19.10 and later), xdg-
desktop-portal-kde is indeed providing xdg-desktop-portal.
(https://packages.ubuntu.com/eoan/xdg-desktop-portal-backend) Based on
this, I'm marking this fix

Upstream have added the change here [0], I'll take a look at making an
SRU for this change when I get a moment (if no one else wants to). And
if there is a release of xdg-desktop-portal-kde soon (before the cosmic

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.
This doesn't seem correct to me either, from my understanding of
xdg-desktop-portal. It looks like xdg-desktop-portal-kde potentially should
have the following (which xdg-desktop-portal-gtk already has).
