Same problem on Sony VGN-CR41ZR/Ubuntu 18.04 (4.15.0-106-generic) with builtin intel wifi card and additional wifi usb card (maybe this important) Machine was not suspended, just after some time rest in working (day or couple) with no touching any settings of wifi connection it just hang and
