Is this supposed to work with sftp://?

seems to indicated that sftp is capable of updating the timestamps, still KDE's
kioslave seems to set them to today().

I cannot seem to get Kubuntu 8.04 beta installed in VirtualBox. I've
tried with Fedora9 alpha and that won't install either. So I'm without

It's a permissions thing (assumign same problem as I've just solved in
Ubuntu Gutsy gnome - I installed ntfs-config then enabled both options).

In Konqueror 3.5.8, when files are copied via ssh from a remote host to
local, the file's date is the date that the original file was created on
the remote host. However, if the file is then copied from local to a
different remote host, the new file's date is today.
