With my Samsung Q45 the bug is back again
With a peculiar signal : it works fine in my office but no-way at home (
where I have a wi-fi alarm system )
until revision 8.04 I used to go in a room without any other wi-fi
transmitter, get the signal, log on and then was fine all around the
house,
Thanks Andrej. Based on your feedback it would appear that using linux-
backports-modules resolves this particular issue. It would likely be a
good idea to open a new report about the other issue you are seeing.

Hi andrej,
Thanks for all you testing and feedback. The linux-backports-modules-

interested to hear how your testing goes. Thanks.

Upgrading to linux-backports-modules helped -- I haven't had any module
problems. However, what does happen still is that the connection freezes
-- nothing comes in/out although the connection is established. After
reconnecting to the access point everything goes back to normal. This
happens ~1-2
I forgot to mention that this has been tested on HP Compaq 6820s; I am
attaching the output of lspci -vvvx for the wireless adapter.

1) Tested with Hardy and backported 1.2.25, worked like a charm.
2) Upgraded to Intrepid (iwlagn 1.3.27ks), works well enough. I had to
rmmod/modprobe iwlagn a couple of times because the connection sometimes drops
after prolonged use and cannot be re-established. After rmmod/modprobe

Can anyone confirm the issue against the 1.2.25 version of the driver

following in a terminal:
modino iwl4965

still did the same thing. I don't know if this helps any. I can get
