Well yesterday there were multiple folders like you described. But today with the new updates they were removed and there is now a new hardware-driver manager. It had only 1 choice for nvidia, so i selected nvidia and hit install and use. Then i restarted and after it rebooted the option for

In your /var/lib/dkms/nvidia/ directory you may find several subdirectories such as 177.13, 177.67, 177.68 and 177.70 this confuses dkms and makes it don't know what todo so it decides todo nothing which makes your graphics not work. So now we delete the old drivers. $ cd /var/lib/dkms/nvidia $
