Hi vivichrist,
This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in
it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try
with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are
available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/karmic .
If it remains
actually after some testing this only happens with the use of firewire
(freebob) audio.
** Also affects: freebob
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu)
Status: Incomplete = New

this is using hardy updated from gutsy and feisty. I recently changed
the graphics card from a gforce 7900gs to radeon 1600 pro pci-express
and before that I upgraded to a MA790X-DS4 motherboard, phenom 9550 CPU
from DFI lanparty NF4-ultra Socket 939 CPU. in both cases, before and
after the change
We need some further details. Which Ubuntu release are you using? You
said it started recently, what changed at this time? Are you using
proposed updates? Did you recently change your graphics driver? Did you
try this on multiple machines (since you mentioned both ATI and nvidia)?
This is neither
after I upgraded the motherboard jackdardour worked as expected for
while ...can't remember which update it was. sorry. but it is instantly
reproducible. I'll have a look in the xorg.log.
