Ok, just to update on this bug, I managed to get ustream to work in a
Kubuntu Karmic 64bit box so here it goes. Found these instructions in
the webcamstudio webpage (http://www.ws4gl.org/):
Go to
http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager06.html
Set
1) Broadcasting Audio+Video does not work?
2) It still doesn't work in 9.04 or 9.10 ?

1) Yes, it still does not work.
2) a. It still doesn't work in 9.04 w/ 32bit Flash from repo nor 64bit Alpha
from Adobe; in 9.04 I can not watch a broadcast from ustream.tv either.

2) b. I have not tested it in 9.10 yet, but will in the next few days.

Yes it is still an issue for me. I can watch or broadcast audio, but the
video camera is not recognized by flash. The camera is recognized by
cheese and the same video camera works on an 8.04 install.
