Should a regression be considered a feature request?
If so I am happy to go post it on ubuntu brainstorm, however, this was
previously a feature that no longer exists. Ubuntu brainstorm does not seem
like the appropriate site to list regressions.

I think the question is, should a feature request be considered a
regression. I certainly think it is a regression *to you*, but as you
stated in your original report, this is a situation were there will be
many opinions as to what is right. Brainstorm is probably the best
place to show the
Ok i take your point. I see from our brief comments that the behavior of the
mute button (possibly all sound buttons) warrant discussion. I was under the
impression that this was an unintended side effect of development but
realize that this is an assumption of my own and I have no information
to unnecessarily hammer my point home this is a regression because
behavior has changed for the worse and a case of repeated functionality
because the vol up/down buttons also unmute the sound.
Im still not sure what package this effects.
