Temporary workaround to the problem by creating the desired shortcut on desktop
by using
Thunar file manager, navigate to the path of the file (for example:
/usr/bin/VBox )
- Right-Click on executable - Send To - Desktop (Create Link)
This creates a shortcut to VirtualBox on the Desktop.

Than klick Starter erstellen
Than give anyting in the Name: box.
