I can confirm that all these packages can be installed alongside the unstripped
ffmpeg libs without any problem, they also all run fine, but I can't say for
sure if the features which use ffmpeg work, but it would be surprising if they
don't.

That would be great if the original bug reporter and people who posted
comments could test and give some feedback. Otherwise rebuilt packages
are not going to enter -updates... Thanks.
Anyway, I tested on intrepid with gpac today: it's now able to coexist
with the unstripped variant, and works
