well, i still can't print photos via f-spot (doing it right now via Gimp, but
that s already.
It goes like this: I hit Print, I chose printer, I select Photo Tray
after that, no matter if i configure something more manually or leave it as it
is pre-selected

i got update and upgrade installed today on 8.10 can't reproduce the
error anymore, sorry. works fine now, besides the fact that my printer
tells me that it is not the right paper, although i proofed everything
:-( - whatever, preview works nicely and printer starts now.
Nevertheless; I'll attach
sorry, same for 8.04 on this pc. i did update and upgrade. same as
above, although it is also a different (elder) version of f-spot (the
other f-spot version i use with 8.10 is 0.5.0.3, btw). but, same as
above, I sent you the txt-file, so you can see if you find something
useful.

Thanks for the report, could you run fspot as: f-spot --debug f-spot-
debug.txt perform the action to make it crash and attach that resulting
file to the report? thanks in advance.

okidoki - tried now to print via my notebook ubuntu 8.10. doesn't work
either. I get an error in printer sign that tells me that the printer is
prolly not connected. But it is. I checked detection in printer menu, is
detected. I print testside - works fine. I print from OOo - works fine.
