Ah, you are right, I had removed nvidia-common because I thought I
didn't need a package describing itself as "Find obsolete NVIDIA
drivers". I didn't know that it provided other services to jockey too.
Therefore I shall close this bug.

Hm, theoretically all driver versions claim to support this model:
$ grep 0160s nvidia-*

Jockey is now correctly reporting that I am using nvidia.
However, it still isn't offering me the ability to switch between
various nvidia driver versions, as it did in Intrepid.
Will now run apport-collect...

then ,run "apport-collect -p jockey-common 320689" to get some debugging

I have similar problem:
1) jockey recommends me to install madwifi driver instead of working ath5k (see
Bug #346078)
2) after I install madwifi (had to try, because ath5k doesn't support rfkill),
I get nonfunctional wireless interface, because "wifi%d: unable to attach
