Had the same problem, same fix.
Yes, it is a bug, but in the settings, not in any of the the programs.
What happens is that Hugin installs fine in Ubuntu Intrepid, with all the
dependencies, but the autopano-executable setting is wrong.
It should indeed be 'autopano-complete' (which is some sort

Well, it was a stupid problem. i solved it by putting autopano-
complete in the preference menu. Wrong executable was setted there.
