i had a bit of a broken setup which is rectified now. my m/b has a 2
port silicone image sil5723 controller it markets as speeding hd. i
had a dvd attached to one of these, and although it was working, the
asus support site says the ports only support hard drives.

determine if a resume had problems. We're currently investigating
increasing this value to avoid unnecessary false positives such as this
one. They are usually caused by the wait for SATA links to start.
