Samuli Seppänen, do you still have the same problem? If so we should
start a new bug as I do have it and it's a different chipset.

I can verify this problem on Macbook1,1:
02:00.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications Inc. AR242x
802.11abg Wireless PCI Express Adapter (rev 01)
I've encountered this problem before on other Linux OS'es and is caused
by the ath5k driver Ubuntu uses by default. Last time I checked,
Forgot to mention I'm running 9.04 with the standard desktop kernel.

Wifi keeps getting hung and then disconnected for no reason. Worked
perfectly fine in Intrepid. Wasnt this bad in Jaunty either, but all of
a sudden this problem seems to have come up.

I experience the same issues with a macbook pro rev. 1. After an upgrade
do Jaunty RC1 no wifi at all (no wifi module loaded). When I added ath5k
to /etc/modules it didn't really work, the only way to get a working
connection was inserting the module manually after startup. What is
more, the
=== Wifi not working properlly on MacBook Pro 1,1 running Jaunty Beta

I had Ubuntu 8.10 running and the Wifi worked fine. I've installed
Jaunty 9.04 Beta (and all updates) and although wifi is working, I
notice several problems:
1. Keeps disconnecting and reconnecting without reason;
2.
I'm also attaching a different dmesg.log, from yesterday (when the wifi
was detected and working) that shows several disconnections and
reconnections: the unstable I mentioned.
Thank you for your help!
